The Coastal Route
We’ll start with the north to south routes and local campsites available along the way and later branch out inland. There is much more information to come and yet a lot here already. Continue to watch us grow! Links are being worked on from the bottom of this page upward and sites are listed from bottom representing crossing from the California border upward as one would travel north up the coast.

WHISKEY RUN BEACH, beach access. Motorized 4×4’s allowed to drive on the beach.
Here the 101 veers to the right and inland (if you are traveling south to north). Places of interest that continue along the coast but are not on 101 (see maps for access) are listed directly above and noted by all caps.
Bullards Beach State Park and Sand Dunes Open year round. Camping, cabins and yurts. Dump station, hot showers. Beach, boating and fishing. (July 2017 rates: electrical $26, full hookup $29 – set website for more).
Brandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge Wildlife refuge area with several historical sites.
Couquille River Lighthouse and Bullard’s Beach State Park. Open year round. Camping, fishing, boating. Yurts and cabins. Beach access. Dump station. Two miles north of Brandon. (July 2017 rates: electrical $26, full hookups $29, see site for more.)
South Jetty County Park is a day use area with beach access and sand dunes. There are also off-road areas with access to dispersed camping areas.
Bradley Lake is a small lake just 4 miles south of Brandon. Boating swimming and fishing, there is a public boat launch. Note that there are several private residences here.
Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint Beach, fishing, hiking. Day use.
Bandon State Natural Area Year round, day use only. Beach access, fishing, hiking.
Floras Lake and Blacklock Point / Boice Cope Park, Boice Cope Park is adjacent to Floras Lake (Boice Cope Park address 92850 Boice Cope Road, Langlois, OR) – reservations for electrical sites, see website link. (July electrical rates $22/night, $132/week, non-electrical $18/night). Floras Lake is an undeveloped area.
