- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- 3 teaspoons Flour
- 2 Cups Milk
- 1/2 pound Cheese (Tillamook Medium Cheddar is very good)
Melt butter over heat. Remove pan.
Add flour and make into a paste. Place back on low flame. Slowly add and mix the milk stirring constantly until thick.
Slowly add cheese over low heat stirring constantly to keep from curdling.
Remove from fire and pour over broccoli, cauliflower, etc.
